Yes, we've got another ice storm cookin'! It started around midnight last night with rain and sleet and they have us on a winter storm watch till 6: 00 p.m. tomorrow nite. It's expected we will have a total of 1/2" to 1 inch of ice before this one is over. Fortunately, since it's rain and sleet, it's not sticking to power lines so we aren't looking at losing power. The director called us all today to let us know that the library will be closed today...not sure if we will be closed tomorrow (I certainly hope so). I put the day to good use so far, sewing the above quilt together, vacuuming the studio, and then some knitting. Maybe I'll even make dinner tonight for John. Most folks know that John does all the cooking around here. He's done it for almost the entire 35 years we've been married. I do the cooking for the big events, he does the everyday cooking. But sometimes I surprise him with dinner when I've spent the day at home and he's been out earning the big bucks! I think today will be one of those days. Tuna casserole with a salad and rolls. Yep, he will like that! I'm off to the kitchen. More later.
